Over time there have been means and tools that on purpose or accidentally would have led individuals and societies to lose their critical thinking abilities, instincts, judgement, good behaviour, basic fairness and for now I think the AI is the most elegant and obscure of all. Our world deserves more awareness.
Yeah, and I think that’s what makes AI different from a lot of the tools that came before it. They usually took over one thing. AI can creep into almost any part of thinking, and because it feels like help rather than replacement, you can give up a bit of judgement without ever feeling like you did. That’s the bit I think we need to get much better at noticing.
Providing you still got it, If you don’t use it, you lose it …
Yeah, pretty much. And with AI the tricky part is you can stop using your own judgement a little at a time without really noticing.
